Lucky Girl

It’s 10:41pm and I’m writing in my bed alone tonight. My hubs (Michael) is off on a guys weekend camping trip to PSL with his dad, his brother Donnie, and his best friend Adam. It’s so weird to be here without him. Normally this is the time of night that we are done with our devos and either racing each other on Wii Mario Kart or snuggling and watching TV before bed. I miss him SOOOO much!! He is literally my best friend in the world. It sounds cheesy but it’s really, really true.

Ever since February 6th, 2005, when our friend Rachel set us up to meet at church (thanks Rach!!!) we have been pretty much glued together. A girl couldn’t ask for a better man than my Michael. He makes me laugh, he holds me when I need to cry, he gives me courage and encouragement, he challenges me to be a better person, and he loves me more than I deserve. He is a hard worker and gives 101% at everything he does. Ok, so he’s not perfect…he sometimes forgets to replace the trash can liner when he takes the trash out and always leaves drawers cracked open instead of closing them all the way (pet peeve). But seriously, after 4 imperfect years together, I would jump at the chance to marry him all over again.

Is this post gooey enough yet? HeHeHe!! Sorry if I grossed you out but I just had to brag on my hubs a little bit. He may not be Mr Perfect but he is without a doubt my Mr Right. I can’t wait for him to come home tomorrow!!!

I really am a lucky girl 🙂
