Adulting is hard and parenting is even harder still, however, it’s the moments of laughter that make it not only bearable but joyful.
I want to start writing them down so that I have them to read later when the sleep deprivation hits and I’ve forgotten.
This morning brought this conversation:
“Mommy, did you know that mega dragons eat other creatures like dinosaurs and other dragons?”
“Eww, no I don’t like that.”
“Well, life is hard like that, mommy. You just have to get used to it.”

And, not to be outdone, If you listen to Haven caroling in the back on my van during any given trip to the grocery store and you’d hear:
We wish you a merry christmas, we wish you a merry christmas,
We wish you a merry christmas, and a happy new EAR!
Good TIMINGS we bring, to you and your KING,
Good TIMINGS of christmas and a happy new EAR!
Now bring us a PRETTY pudding, now bring us a PRETTY pudding,
Now bring us a PRETTY pudding and bring it right now!
Haven – age 3
