Kid Quotes 3

Haven was taking a long time on the step stool after brushing her teeth and proceeded to tease Jonah, who was waiting in line behind her, by moving in slow motion.
“Haven! Come on! You’re going to make me get cabbities (cavities lol!)”
-Jonah, age 6

Haven was telling Michael a story when she stopped and seemed to forget the ending. Jonah piped up and finished her thought for her and she was instantly offended and fussed at him. Michael then corrected her and said that Jonah was only trying to help her because she had forgotten what she was saying. Then she said “I didn’t forget! I just needed a little think!”
-Haven, age 4

Me: “Hip, hip…!”
“Yeths!!” -Laelynn, age 18m
We used to say “hip hip hooray” but Laelynn has put her own spin on it and now finishes with a little baby-lisps “Yes!” as she throughs her arms into the air with excitement.

“Mommy, I am not little. I am a grown-up because I am four years old. Well, I’m big, but not a grown up…I think I am medium.”
-Haven, age 4

“Mommy, I think you should call me ‘Professor Jonah’ now. You know, because I have glasses.”
-Jonah, age 6

After finding out that the movie for rest time was Mulan:
“Oh yes! That is a splendid idea, mommy, because I love that one!”
-Jonah, age 6

“But Daddy, I don’t have a Cubs masterpiece like you.”
-Jonah, age 6, trying to convince daddy to give him some of his Cubs memorabilia
