New Wheels

The days of our beloved van, The Black Pearl, were numbered and wearing thin.

It needed a motor mount, new tires, an AC compressor, power steering pump, back bumper, both sliding door actuators, and several other minor things. It had seen us through a lot of trips to Deltona and Port St Lucie, one big roadtrip to Woodstock GA and Franklin KY, and brought home our third little one from the hospital. It had hosted more than a few Chick fil-A dinners and lunches on the run and endured many spills. We also enjoyed being able to fit our family as well as guests in it to go out together.

Saying good bye to the old van was a little sad, but those adventures are done and it’s time for new ones.

Meet our new mom-mobile!

The kids have preliminarily named her “The Cool Koala” (I have no idea why) so we will have to see if that name sticks or not. We are already planning our next big road trip to Elkview WV this fall so we are savoring the smoother ride and more comfortable cabin.
