Me: “Haven, Jonah, I would like you to each say three things that you love about each other.”
Jonah: “I love Haven because she tickles me when I need a giggle. I love Haven because she is fun to play with me. I love Haven because she is kind.”
Haven: “I love Jonah because he giggles when I tickle him. I love Jonah because he giggles when I wiggle him. I love Jonah because he giggles when I ziggles him.”

*Haven, running into the living room in distress*
“Mommy! There’s a little tiny beetle!!”
“Ok, where is it?”
“Jonah has it in his hands.”
“Ummmmmm ok….let’s put it outside please.”

After seeing a bunch of houses, we asked the kids if they liked the one we put an offer on. Haven crossed her arms and said with a stern face and furrowed brow, “I do not like that house because it has a spider in the toilet!”
Jonah’s response: “I want the empty one because we can put our stuff in it.”

Jonah: “Because inside my brain is kind of a never-turning-off TV and it has a lot of mario stuff on it. It’s just super hard. In fact, the whole TV in my brain is filled with Mario. – Age 6
After recieving his new green belt in Taekwondo:
“I like my green belt. I think it suits me, ya know?”
