Fitness Journal – days 12 &13

Day 12 –

Today was an AWESOME day. It was one of those rare Saturdays when you find yourself with no obligations and very few chores to be done. In light of that fact, we decided that we would use some of that free time to work out together but soon got caught up in a rush of shopping, geocaching, and general running around having a blast.

By the time we got home I was exhausted so Michael went out to run by himself and completed his first ever 5k in 38mins!!! I was so proud of him!!! And by the way, most of the shopping we did was for him and the jeans we got were a full size smaller than he’s been wearing. Kudos to my man 🙂

After resting for a while I did an hour of yoga which I considered to be sufficient after such a long, busy day. Michael did the yoga with me for the first time and I gotta tell ya, he did really great…even though there were times that we both couldn’t stop laughing 🙂

Breakfast – oatmeal
Lunch – salad
Snack – nachos
Dinner – a Marie Calendar’s dinner that was under 500 calories and 11grams of fat

Day 13 –

Sundays are a harder day to get in a workout and we were once again zonked from watching the Olympics way too late. So the only working out we did was rushing from the car to the church lol!!

  1. I would like to clarify, those yoga poses are weird: “Switch to down face dog… rabid cat… hungry walrus… now bring your hands together… wash the face…” Not very manly at all. I only did it to stretch my legs out!
